Nedjma embraces life with open arms, but as the social climate becomes more conservative, she discovers her apolitical behaviour is considered a form of insurgency. When she loses a childhood friend in an attack, she decides to make a political statement by organising a fashion show to fight everything the war wants to repress: freedom, women』s independence, and the prospect of a future.
